My May Wrap Up

What a month this has been. From April where I only managed to read 2 books to now, 31 days later where I have just finished reading my 8th book! Wowsa. What a change and a good one too. I read 5 books in Danish and 3 in English. Two of the books in Danish were review copies and the other 3 in Danish were a part of a Christmas present gifted to me by the publisher. So I’m glad I finally got to read them!

I’ve felt so much better being able to read again like I used to so this better continue and perhaps I’ll have made a solid dent in my tbr shelf. So let’s get a look at the books I read in May.

Looking for Alaska
by John Green

I tried watching the TV-series, but barely got through the first episode. I thought it was pretty boring tbh. Maybe I’ll give it another go later.

  1. I’m glad you seemed to have a pretty decent reading month! I need to get around to reading Looking for Alaska as well as The Cruel Prince. I’m sorry you didn’t seem to fully love Looking for Alaska. I feel like I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews on that one. Maybe one day I will get around to reading it D:

    1. I highly recommend you reading The Cruel Prince as soon as humanly possible 😄
Yeah it was just a whole lot of nothing for the most part. But it was a quick read as it was pretty short.

    1. Yeah it was announced even before the book was released. I believe it’s the same director as Catching Fire and Mockingjay. So we’ll have that to look forward to.
I haven’t read QoN yet. I can’t find it in my local bookstores 😖 So will have to wait to order it until next month or August. But I am super excited to read it. I know it’ll be great!
