Best Books of 2020

Another year over – and thank goodness for that. It feels like 2020 has lasted three years and not in a good way at all.

Anywho, I read a bunch of books throughout the year and I have compiled some of my favourite of them in this blog post. They are all 5 star reads, but not all my 5 star reads are here, just a few of them because I read so many great books this year. One even made it on here, which I only read a few days ago thanks to the new Netflix show, Bridgerton. Have you seen it? I’ve already binged it twice!

Alrighty then. Without further ado. Here are some of the best books I read in 2020.
They are in no particular order.

The Unhoneymooners
by Christina Lauren

I loved this book so so much! I read it super fast and was hooked from start to finish! Enemies to lovers really are my favourite trope!

Spektrum 1-4
by Nanna Foss

This Danish Sci-Fi series stole my heart from the get-go and I am still reeling from all the mindfucks and cliffhangers and there are still 5 books left to be written!

House of Earth and Blood
by Sarah J. Maas

A beast of a book, but it quickly hooked me and had me giggling and gasping throughout.

The Folk of Air series
by Holly Black

This series took my breath away this year. Jude and Carlan quickly became one of my favourite OTP’s, with The Wicked King being my favourite book of the three.

The Viscount Who Loved Me
by Julia Quinn

I am one of many who was hooked instantly by Netflix’s new series, Bridgerton. I immediately started reading the books and this one, book 2, about Anthony Bridgerton quickly became my favourite.

So there we have it. Some of my favourite books of 2020. I’d love to hear what some of your favourite were this year! Let me know in the comments below and hope you have a great and safe New Year.

See you all in 2021
