Stay At Home Book Tag

Last month I was tagged by the wonderful Leslie over on Books Are The New Black to do the Stay At Home Book Tag. Check out her answers here

And here’s me, a month later and finally getting around to doing it. Sorry for the delay.

But here goes:

Laying In Bed: A Book You Read In A Daybeautiful disaster

For this there were a few to pick from but I decided on Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire.
I devoured this book when I first read it back in 2012. It’s romantic, intense and Travis Maddox is both dreamy and absolutely bad for you.

Snacking: A Guilty Pleasure Readon dublin street

Bring on the erotica. The classics of hot girl meets hot guy and have hot and explicit sexual relations on several occasions. I guess they are my guilty pleasures. A prime example is the
On Dublin Street series by Samantha Young.

I linked to my review of this book if you want to read it.

Netflix: A Series You Want to Startmistborn trilogy

I’ve had the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson on my shelf for a while now and I haven’t read any of this stuff yet, but I’ve only head incredible things about it so I mean, come on girl, get started!

BloodhoundDeep Clean: A Book That’s Been On Your TBR Forever

I’m not proud of this, but I have books on my TBR shelf that have been collecting dust there for YEARS. I believe the one I’ve had the longest and that I kind of DNF’ed back then is Bloodhound by Tamora Pierce. A guestimate on how long it’s been on my shelf… 10 years maybe?

Animal Crossing:
A Book You Bought Because Of The Hypeimg_2516

There are a few, but one that recently comes to mind is The Cruel Prince – and I did not regret it!

Read my review of The Cruel Prince here.

his dark materialsProductivity: A Book You Learned From Or Had An Impact On You

I had to dig deep for this one and by deep, I mean through the archives of my memories. Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials were on of the series that introduced me to the world of fantasy literature. I read this amazing trilogy back in maybe 6th grade and they have stuck with me ever since.

Facetime: A Book You Were GiftedAlias Alex

I’ve been gifted a few books these past few years, especially from publishers, though I suppose they are more considered review copies. But One book that I was gifted by the publisher without the intent of a review is Alex, Approximately. I was gifted this after I went to an internship interview at the publisher back in 2017.

Self Care: One Thing You’ve Done Recently To Look After Yourself

I’ve taken time to relax. Moving can be stressful, so I’ve made sure to take time for myself to just relax and do nothing. But later this year I really want to treat myself to a spa day or a massage.

truly, madly, like meBonus: An Upcoming Release You’re Looking Forward To

I recently did a blogpost about my most anticipated release of the second half of 2020 and among these was Truly, Madly, Like Me by Jo Watson.

I am Watson trash and will buy anything she writes. I own all of her books and this book already has a reserved spot on my shelf. I highly recommend her books if you’re into cute and hilarious rom-coms.

So that was it – that was my take on the Stay At Home Book Tag.

I’m not gonna tag anyone, but if you feel like doing it you should go for it.

  1. Hey, a month later still counts!!! I just started Mistborn and I’m 100 pages in. I definitely am interested but I’ve hit a bit of a reading slump with all this Animal Crossing. hahaha
